The body man and I have agreed on a deal. I am going to strip the Charger down and he will do all panel repairs and paint. Going with the original Hemi orange. It's a Charger 500 all numbers matching 383 high performance buckets console 727 car. black interior PW PB PS. AC

I removed the front of the car today. Front valance, bumper hide-a-ways, oil AC radiators, drained the cooling system battery and tray even removed the Dixie horn. I can stand 18" closer to the engine. I will be needing help later. When I say strip I don't mean paint just hardware and engine. Just had the Orig 393 rebuilt but I put it back in with its headers. I now have original exhaust manifolds and carb will be putting those on.

This is not one of those $30K restorations. This is the working man's resto and I plan on driving it a lot.

sounds like you got a plan keep us updated post some photos when you get a chance :icon_thumleft:

Sounds like a great plan, I wish you good luck in it! Pictures would be great, a driver is the way to go and sounds like a sweet ride, 30k resto looking kind of cars i have are, 1/25 scale models! cheaper easier to clean and takes up very little space. Have fun! :)
