Snakeyes you got I! I love that. I wish I could see the dyno horsepower and torque curve compared to the dual quad. very Interesting!

Look close at the Can U say Hemi.....it's more like can you say "poser". There are real exhaust pipes exiting under the ones sticking up in the air, and you can see plug wires at under the back edge of the fake hemi valve covers.

the brown one I believe a salt flats car

L-Plymouth-Cuda-Hemi-1971-Engine[1].jpg the carb looks a little lost in there

My buddy has a 73 Road runner with a .030 over 440 and 6bbl set up, 4spd, and 3.91 rear. My .030 over 440 with a duel plane, 800cfm 4bbl, automatic, 3.23 gear savoy is faster at the strip. It does take til half track to pass him but my e.t's and mph are better. Then again my car is lighter.

Both great cars, the 62-65 ran around 3170, and the 73' was 3525 plus with the 440, Which explains why my old friends homely old 62' savoy with a 426 cross ram in the car was such a killer in 1965. Chevy guys hated him!

X2. I was going to say a 24 stud flat head as opposed to the 21. Looks late model.

Love my little 416 smalley 6 pack Dart, runs 11.50's all day long with no issues--wouldn't have it any other way.

11.40's this year it's been on a diet lolair cleaner 029.jpgdrags 039.jpg

I would think people saying 4 bbls are just as fast as 6 bbls probably wouldn't be talking stock setups. Apples for apples; same trans, rear end ratio, etc. I'm sure a 6bbl is faster. They're probably referring more to what snakeoil said.

Just an interesting note, a friend of mine has a 440 6 bbl in his '68 Roadrunner and told me if he kept his foot out of it, that he got gas mileage in the low-mid 20's running on just the center carb. I know, "how often are you going to be able to keep your foot out of the gas in a 6 pack car" lol, but I just found that pretty crazy.

The 6 pack car in my avatar was much faster than the 4 barrel car in my signature, of course the 6 pack was a HP. That is why I added all the stuff in my signature to the car I have now as it did not hold a candle to the six pack car.

I like my set-up.
