Ok, My brother and I made the trip to Carlisle, last summer, We had a good time, but would like to know what other shows in June or July other people have found just as good, and would suggest a go and see event. Close to Ontario Canada, with in 10 hour drive.

Woodward dream Cruise. Lots of cruises going on fro H1180002.jpgm Ferndale (10mi.rd.) to Pontiac Mich. including "Michigan Mopar Muscle" car club. Google "Michigan Mopar Muscle" to see Pics. Bought my my 69 RR conv. from the president Leroy. Bob (Windsor, Ontario)

My favorites are the Goodguys and the Mopar Nats both in Columbus Ohio. The Goodguys is the place to go if you want to see award winning front cover magazine cars EVERYWHERE "huge show". The Nats is a great venue for Mopar fans, huge swap meat, drag racing, car show, burn out contest, larger vendor displays and much more. I'm from Ohio so I'm a little partial but they are great shows.

Well, I wouldn't miss Carlisle each year but if you are looking for something different, Moparfest is always fun.
And our little Mopar show each year draws over 300 cars and 5000 plus through the gate.
www.cnymopar.com on the last Sunday in June each year.

The Nationals in Syracuse NY is a great show too. The Mopar Nats in Columbus Ohio is similar to Carlisle with constant drag racing on site. I am going to Carlisle again this year. I think you stayed in the same hotel last year. The tail gate parties in parking lot were great.

I like the Mopar Nats in Columbus and used to like the Monster Mopar car show at Gateway Itn'l in STL area (actually on IL side of the river) but unfortunately for us here it moved last summer :(

I've always wanted to go to Carlisle but haven't been, but I may go visit my buds in CA this year and attend one of the west coast shows .. I'm imaging that would be awesome !

I heard the Rod Run in Piegon Forge is good to attend, I've never been but planning on going this year. Has any one else been to this before?

Safe to assume you make it to MOPARFEST in August every year or at least have in the past?

Personally, I've been to Carlisle ever since I was 6 months old. Always a great show..just have to get through the heat sometimes. I think two years ago it was pushing 95 degrees with no breeze. That blacktop was HOT. It actually melted part of my Nikes :tongue5: But still a great show. The Nats in Columbus are always fun. Lots of great cars and a huge show too, with lots of vendors and swap meet guys.

And ODZking, this fellow Western/Central New Yorker will see you at your Mopar show in the summer.

We make it to Carlisle, Mopar Nationals and Moparfest every year they are all good shows

No have not been yet, and I am still new to this hobby. August is a busy month for me. My wife and I volunteer at our local jamboree's each year (Boots and Hearts and Havelock)

Mopars at Carlisle is pretty hard to beat if you just looking for a single place all Mopar event that large...........plenty of large and small all brand & model shows, cruises and events all over the country during the year.......for just Mopar events I think it is best to just watch this forum......as for other shows and events.....two things you can do......
1. Do a search for classic car shows on the internet for which ever state you want to look in.
2. Watch my Classic Car on TV.....they highlight a car event every week somewhere.
