Looking for the casting #3614230 400 block
kinda close to north east tn. If possible, shipping
would probably be brutal much further away
Thanks

I have a complete 400 in a 74 Plymouth ssp.
Don't know a lot about it.
If you want more info let me know.
I am in north georgia.

I have a complete (less intake, dist) in real nice shape. Listed on here just look at my posts. The #,s are in the pic. I am in lower PA but get on U-Ship and shipping is cheap.

Addict,
Could you possibly get the casting number for the block? I have a 400 block but looking for the 230 block
Thanks

Ok thats cool. Can I ask why your looking for that # ?
Just like to know the dif ??

OH ok. I never had a block falure so never looked into it . But ya learn every day :iamwithstupid:

Actually there are two 230 blocks. The heavy ones were cast before 10/17/71. The ones casted after that date are the "normal" blocks.

Are you trying to make huge horsepower? Any block should be sonic tested before building if that's what you are trying to do....

Yea I will be sonic testing the block, the early 230 block is the one I'm looking for
if I don't find one ill just use the one I have.

I have a 3614230.
