B Body Washer Pump #2809013 Ground Install

Does anyone know how to make the riveted ring terminal on the washer pump ground wire work with the washer bottle? I have an NOS Washer Pump and it appears that the ring terminal is to deep for the plastic rim on the washer bottle. I attached a pic of the ground wire ring terminal

Please help. This is driving me crazy.

Mine was crimped flat on the bottle ( mind you it was a later bottle from a '74 charger). You need to figure out how to fold the part protruding out the bottom over without cutting it. Or notch it and fold it over that way.
