This is a lil out of the bbody avenue but we're looking for input. Anybody have any experience with AIH chrome is Dubuque Iowa? We have a couple bumpers we need straightened and rechromed for a car they don't make repops for. Any thoughts? good or bad? Or with Keystone out of Brainard MN? Thanks! Anybody else here in the midwest that does it? Thanks in advance

I had Ogden Chrome do mine on my RR. I have to say I was more than pleased with the job they did. They were looking pretty rough before they went in and they looked better than new when they returned. I will look and see if I can find a few more pics, but all I have is this one right now that I can find. I do believe they recently raised their prices up though. I got my bumpers in right before the price hike. But they pay for all the shipping, so you save money there if there are not any good local establishments.
The pic really doesn't do it justice if that is believable.

I had good luck with Keystone but took about 3 months. Would be closer for you to get them to Des Moines than Dubuque.

Had Ogden do mine also, great results and quick turnaround.

Whom ever you decide to use stay away from Bumper Boys............
If this is your first time at getting chrome work done do your self a favor (if you do not already know) and look at the different types of chroming...good, better & best.........some places skip steps to bring the price down along with the quality.......ask the shop for references that you can go and see or at least talk to............

Where is Ogden Chrome? Do they have a web site?

I have quite a bit of chrome here on my cars that was done at AIH including bumpers, white metal parts, valve covers and more and it is excellent show chrome some of it was done almost 20 years ago and still looks great. Also is the only company with a transferable lifetime warranty that i am aware of. Ask for Steve and tell him Don from PA told you to call him. It is not cheap but with chrome most times you usually get what you pay for.

I put in for a quote from ogdenchrome and never received an answer. I'm wanting to have my rear bumper chromed for my 62 440.
