Can anyone explain why the axles look different on the end? On one end it has "teeth" but not on the other end.

The teeth are on the passenger side, You rotate the adjuster to adjust the play in the Bearing after you Install the pumpkin and axles. Chrysler recommends .007-008 end play.

Theres a tab that bolts on and locks the teeth.
