Can anybody tell me if this cam, along with alum. Edlebrock intake, and 650 Edelbrock carb will do much for my 318?

Have this in our truck with the Performer and 625 Street Demon and nothing but good things to say. Loads of low end pull and the top end surprised me.

Vacuum is high and idle is smooth, with the louder than I like mufflers that my son installed, it sounds like a muscle car when you open it up.

That cam seems like a very good choice for a stock short block. If you have a 2 BBL intake and carb now the Eddy will help, but if using the factory TQ 4 BBL intake, the gain from the Eddy intake will likely be small to none. If you already have the Eddy intake use it, otherwise I'd save some money and find a pick n pull iron intake from a 360. Only caveat is they can crack so have it magged before you put it on.

Thanks guys for the responses. Just takin a shot in the dark.

You'll like it if a mild gain is what your after. I did a very similar Crane can in a dead stock 318 with a 904 & 3.21 sure griped equipped rear in a Duster.

The car, a 74 Duster, was a high 14 sec. Capable ride. OOTB 1st run was a 15.14 with a good amount of tire spin. Other equipment comprised of;

Open air cleaner
625 Edelbrock
Edelbrock LD4B dual plane
Hooker headers into a Jegs exhaust @ 2-1/2 inches.
ESPO springs, 1 inch over bend
Ignition was a stock distributor triggered by a MSD 6 box
Stock trans & tires sizes
