FBBO cumulative years of Mopar knowledge, experience, passion - Post up your time

I bought my first ('70 GTX) in '81, but the Mopar seed was planted in me sometime around 1969 or '70 when I rode in our neighbors' new Charger.

Thanks for commenting fuely62 and bel64 and thanks for adding your experience to the tome

We'll get there and past eventually Mar !

I am 35 and my dad was and still is a huge Mopar collector and restorer! I have some pictures of me and dad when I was just a baby working on dads 72' Sebring plus! Then it was the 66' belvedere then the 72' 340 duster and so I have been immersed in mopars my whole life! And now that I have a son of my own its the exact same way he's only 2 but he can't wait to go out to the gardge to work on daddys car little does he know that 68' GTX we just drug home will be his in a few years ! So I will say I have 35 years!

Im 43 now and my Dad got his Valiant when I was 6. I loved that car and never looked back. I guess that makes 37 years.

Thanks for contributing Ma, theman, and Jase

I bought my first '70 GTX when I was a senior in HS in 1975. By the time I graduated in '76, I owned five running driving 68-70 B-body's. I've owned around 20 various body styles from A-body to E-body thru the years.

I'm 55 now....I think....

Bought my first B body in 1970, at age 18, a '68 Coronet 500, also had a '69 Charger in the early '80s, and my '70 GTX for the past 2 years, so I guess I can count around 44 years.

Thanks for sharing 70 GTX and Rick .. we are very close to 3K now gang !! Let's blow right past it with a bang

No body has 10 years?

A bit more than that. My love for Mopar goes back to when Pop got his Duster when I was ten. Helped him wrench on it to whip it in shape and put down the current paint job on it when I was 16. It was that experience that drove me into going into body work as a profession. Guess that adds up to about 32 years.

Duly noted and recorded Rock and ramenth .. We finally hit the 3K mark Mar!

I locked this thread into my favorites to pull it back to the top, once it sat for a couple months ,I figured I would input my years then. Been wrenching Mopars since my first 70 Runner back in High school(73-77) so count me in for 40 years.

What about 4K ???

Brought home Nov 6, 1955 in a late 40's Chrysler Windsor, Dad owned Dodges, both my Grandparents owned nothing but Mopar. Dated my ex in a 73 Newport. Learned to drive and parallel park in a 71 4 door Polara. Now that's is 58 yrs for me I guess. Currently with a 2013 v6 Avenger, a Durango, and my 71 RR.

My dad was a Ford guy & I bought my first car in 1975, a 1969 Charger & it's been all down hill from here.

Add 6 more months to my total.

Thanks 6pktgo, Chris, and Dick, and Bob I'll add time to everyone soon .. but for a quick up date
