Welcome. Going to Spring Fling Van Nuys?

Thanks everyone! Can't wait to find me a project 71-72 satellite and start posting!
Yeah Blair's is awesome man! Starting goin not to long ago after doin some work on a buddies '62 nova, everytime I went in I would end up hangin around talking to Phil, outta the blue he calls me asking if I was looking for work and the rest is history. I came to Blair's with 5-6 years of backyard mechanical and fabrication work. And about a year of work at a shop called the finish line here in monrovia,I owe alot to were I'm at now to the owner of the finish line,Jeff hunt . He helped me sharpen some of my skills and taught me so much.
Anywho, very happy at Blair's. Learning more everyday, listening to so many old stories from Phil and just looking around the shop find so much odd ball rare stuff. Love it!

Not a Plymouth, or a Satty, but I almost went and made an offer on it before I found my 66 Charger:

Been of sale for a while, prolly could get it for 5k range
Hard to beat a solid big block car.

Dunno what your budget is, here's a few SoCal Sattys:

Think the Orange one has been listed for a while, prolly ready to deal...

The first one (1967 Coronet 500) is pretty rare. It's hard to find a 4 speed automatic in those years. :)

Welcome, from Las Vegas -I'm originally from the San Gabriel valley, lived in Monrovia too.

theman440,dang small world lol what area of monrovia did you used live in? im off monterey ave

*sigh* after talking every so often to a owner of a 71 satellite since late oct. last year, i called yesterday to see how he was doin and if he's any closer to making up his mind on selling, he deicdes to keep it as another project( while he has a 3-4 other unfinished projects).understandable, its his car and i cant tell him what to do, just irritated because of the way his response came off made me feel as if he's been yanking my chain the whole time and just wanted to talk and talk and talk about what he hopes to do with it and his others.
oh well, and the search continues, sorry for the rant lol

well i went on a little adventure today to check out a 71 satellite that a buddy of mine spotted,he reffered it to me as "hey i saw one of those cars you wont shut up about just sitting at this place" lol.

well long story short, how many of you would like to see pics of a 71 roadrunner, complete numbers matching 383/727 console/bucket,ralley dash, tick tock tach, hood call outs,b2 original paint.
with following upgrades
14in american racings with the flag of mexico center caps
mustang "pony" emblem on front grill
flame stickers on window
looney toones floor mats/mud flaps
very thick and plush zebra seat covers
cheetah rear seat covers
no carpet and thrashed to hell n back,"whats left of" interior

oh, and blue neon underglow lighs along side skirts

all for the grand total of 10,000...

sigh.

Sounds like a SoCal thing. Got pics? Are you going to Spring Fling Van Nuys? Might be a nice buy there and close to home.
