Lets see some mopars in LL-1 Turquoise :)

Hey guys,

Anybody have a car that is LL-1 Dark Turquoise? My wife loves this color and wants me to paint my 68 Coronet turquoise. I like the color too but I am on the fence as I'm not sure I want another car with a white interior.

Could you get the color with a black top/interior or maybe with a blue interior?

It would look great with a black interior too! My 68 RR was an LL1 car originally with a black interior. It will be LL1 again at some point but I'm going white over black interior.

Concur it would look great w/ black interior .. or white. I'd like to see one with blue interior but don't know what that would look like

LL1 went through a lot of changes over the years. My '66 Charger is LL1 and looks completely different from my brothers '68 Polara in LL1.
My car has black interior and his is white. Sorry don't have a pic of his car.

BTW black looks good in any B body color so don't worry about that .. it's just that white pops or looks even better in some, but black looks great in all

To the OP, my Q5 '69 Sport Satellite has a primarily black interior. Everything is black except the cloth inserts on the benches. Those are a white/grey/black "plaid." Yes, it looks good.

Then, to carry things a bit more extreme I just picked up a '69 Q5 Road Runner with an all silver gut. It looks good, too.

I'll post pics when I get everything moved around to the same spot. Eventually they'll both see a build thread. One of the reasons I picked up the Road Runner was because of the color combo, combined with the fact it's a factory 4 speed car.

Somewhere around here is a pic of the old rusty hulk Sport Satellite. Posted it ages ago.

Matt, as a side note, when I went and took a look at the Road Runner (pulled the trigger that day on four cars, another '69 Road Runner, blue on blue, a triple green '69 Bee, and an '83 AHB Fury) the first thing that popped into my head was "wait 'til Sarah gets a load of this!" Then it dawned on me...

Me too. When I restored my 69 B5 4-speed numbers matching Road Runner, I didn't know any better and did the interior in black. It is coded A4 for the interior. I am kicking myself now for not learning more about how it should have been. I think is a fairly uncommon combo.
