I put my Roadrunner away for winter in late November and plan to take it out sometime first week of March. It was winterized (tire pressure, full tank of gas, stabil) but I was wondering if I need to prime the oil pump before I start it up in Spring. I do not or did not start it up periodically.

So - should I prime or not? Sorry if this is a basic question but this is my first winter having owned this car.

If it was my car, I'd just go and start it. A few months of sitting won't matter to the engine.

If you want to oil it up before you run it pull the coil wire off and crank it over alittle to buld oil pressure.

since November? That's not long. Fire it up!

Mine's been sitting since Dec. All i did was gas prime the carb first & it started right up.
