opinion on wheels

Not a big fan of the black wheels just because you cant see them half the time

X100000

Not to mention a blk wheel practically always makes tires look dirty, imo.

I'm not a fan of the Rodlite itself, but your paint is def screaming for an all polished aluminum wheel.

Here's an example, yes I'm ducking right now to hide! Not the exact rims, but close enough for comparison. OK the point is, to me, the rims stand out, but it needs more chrome on the side of the car to tie them in. The mirror, rocker molding and bumper edges aren't enough. Your Coronet however has the drip rail, door handles window trim, bigger bumper edges and sail panel molding. That might just balance them out nicely. I personally like your current rims, they really fit in, but I think these Rodlites could look great as well.

Since you asked, I think the rodlites look great on the car, especially with blackwalled tires, it is a nod to the past, and a nod to the future at the same time.

i almost put the rodlights on my 67.why not use em,polish up to mirror finnish with little effort.went more classic steel with small chrome cap on mine.its all abut what you like in the end.

What about a third option....salt_flat_polished.jpg

Those rodlights look killer on your car and make it look tougher. I've never cared for the daisy wheels in any color so it was an easy decision for me.

those look good on that ride.

wow, they look great.what offset did you use on the rear wheel?5 inch back space?did you have to do any mods to the wheel well to fit the 275's?if you dont mind me asking.

They are the s200 americans or as some call them Daisies.Thinking about glass beading the centers back to rough aluminum as original. Like to change it up now and then.

that or the Roadlites would look great

4 inch bs and no mods. you would need 5 though because I have an a rear with the perches moved

I love the Car. The 66-67 is a hard car to get the right wheels on. (IMO) Not to mention the lack of space that the earlier and later cars have. Great move putting the A rear and the relocating the springs. That helps a bunch. I like the wheels that you have on the car better than the Black ones, although l like the defined five spoke better than the 5 hole. I Still think the car would look better with this wheel, with larger tires and side walls like you have on the back. I think the tires in the front are too tall, too much side wall. (IMO) As you can tell, I am very opinionated, but, I at least have a defined answer to the resolution.

ok, to clarify, I like the wheels on the Vert for your car. I think with a 8 1/2 inch wheel in the back or 9. I think it needs a bigger side wall than whats on the vert. I like the tire side wall that you have on your car just in a 17 inch wheel. But, I like the front tire size on the vert. I think the tire and wheel size is perfect for the front of your car that is showing here on the vert. like I said, Im opinionated.

I went with the taller front tires for a specific reason. The 8 quart Milodon pan scraped much to frequently. Everytime it did I would cringe.I asked for opinions . thank you.

Ok, Cool, that makes loads of common sense. I really like the car. I am just hoping to get mine out and drive it soon. Up here in Idaho the weather is not as forgiving as Texas!!! I am jealous for sure.

I am done with the cold!!! Bring on the Summer!!

Daredevil, what size wheels and tires are you using on that ride?
