Front end redo ... Biting off more than I can chew..?

I just completed the gig...lots of hammering and penetrating lube...even with specific tools I had to have the local garage handle a couple of bushings(pressing in and two removal. On the ground with out a lift sucks but just some good news all that crap goes on a lot faster then taking it off....peace

Thanks Doug !! Info will help got a case of PB lol

Lots of great advise, maybe goes without saying but do one side using the other for reference. If you have given any thought to aftermarket upper control arms Firm Feel are reasonably priced and performance is undeniable. Keep the originals if need be. Good luck

Here is a link on front end rebuild with some pics.

I am planning to do mine soon, it was done about 20 years ago when I redid my car by a friend and me (he owned a frame shop) this time I will be on my own.
Can't be that bad right?

Does anyone have a process on torquing the ball joints, should the car be on the ground with the engine in it or is it okay to tighten everything up when the car is on jackstands. Thanks

Boise was throwing that idea around just starting to get pricey doin disc conversion too .... But never looked into them
