I have a Thermoquad carburetor 9264S, and upon researching more I think it is a marine carburetor.
Are there any issues using marine carbs on vehicles ('67 440 is what I have)?

I apologize if this has been answered before; I searched but couldn't find any threads with this information.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Should be no difference in operation. The only difference I am aware of is the marine carb has a different coating to protect it from corrosion from the salt water/air.

There may be slight differences in the emulsion tubes and air bleeds, but I can't confirm that. The coating of bare aluminum parts is confirmed and that may be why marine carbs are more expensive.

Also, some vent differences and baffles on a marine carb that aren't on a regular. I have a marine 6 pack, the vent is the only difference on those.

Lists 6105, 06, and 07 by chance?

An ad I found..........

I have seen marine and some other late model thermoquads that don't have bowl vent valves, they have the vent, just not the valve. This also appears to be true of the remanufactured thermoquads from summit racing, none of them have bowl vent valves.

Not sure if this is good for the operation of the vapor recovery system to have an always open bowl vent into the charcoal canister.
