Here's a question... I heard that 1967 Chargers came with a pinstripe that followed the roof line but that 66's did not have this pin stripe. Is that true?
Stripe was optional. My car is original paint and has the hand painted White stripe.
Head over to the Charger Source guide. On the left hand side click on "Body", then click "Roof Stripe" on the next window.
Also click on Decoder on the main page. Good reading there too.
I believe it was actually standard unless you checked "stripe delete" on your order sheet.
On your fender tag it will tell you what color and/or if you had a stripe.
On 66's it is under the "N", 67's under the "S". (8 is stripe delete)
Good reading here on my site: http://www.retrorarities.com/FenderTag.htm
Also if you plan to replace the stripe, here is the diagram: http://www.retrorarities.com/ChargerStripe/index.html
