Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on new shoes for my 67 Sat. and I really like the look of Rocket Racings Injector and booster wheels in gray, but I'm having a hard time picturing which wheel will look best...I could really use a pic if anyone has one handy (?)
Is anyone running these wheels? Good? Bad?
Thanks in advance!

No pics, but I really like the Injector series, always have. My personal, unsolicited opinion is that unless the car has attractive brakes worth showing off (painting the drums yellow, orange, red, body color, whatever, doesn't count. That is NOT attractive, its ricer...and somewhat repellent) a more closed-pattern wheel looks better, and paint the drums satin black. Make em disappear. Plus, there's only so many ways to reinvent the Cragar SS or Torque-Thrust 5-spoke design.

That opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it....and I'd kinda like to see some pix too.

I like the booster, injector looks old school. Just not my taste

What don't you like about the Magnum 500 Wheels?

Wish Rocket would bring back the vintage Crager look a like wheels. Brother has some on his '70 Bee.

I like the INJECTOR ! Looks like the Halibrant gasser wheel. I am an old school type and would love the have them on my 69 RR but have a set of Ansin sprints now.

I'm with Wedge. Only problem is the Hallibrand style wheel looks best as a deep dish and those are hard to get on a 66 / 67 Plymouth. 15 x 7 on a 4.25" back space fit perfectly but good luck finding that BS on a mag wheel. You should search 66 / 67 Plymouth pics and see what others are doing.

Wonder if thay make it in a 10" wide ? Also what it would cost ???
I was thinking of haveing my slots Powder coated Gun Metal gray any ways.

I agree that either drums need to be black or calipers an accent color.
8" wide w/ 4.5" BS is as big as I can go on wheels, I'm thinking 18x8" in back with 17x8 up front.
i was also thinking about having the thin raised edge on either wheel pinstriped just to add a little color to them.
i like the injector for the old school look and I like the booster for a more "modern" torque thrust wheel.
Sorry about the pics (I'm a fan of the 65&69 olds cutlass) I thought they had boosters on em,the red one DOES have boosters on it

Wedge- they do make them 10" AND wider, depending on how big a rim you want (17, 18 etc.) they run around $200 something a rim.

MightyMopar-it's not that I don't like magnum 500's it's just that I want something different.
