Won't be using this for Media Blasting, this would not be enough cfm, but, this is a kick-*** unit for my air tools! This is a 10hp, 3ph 240v, 2-stage Devibliss unit.

You and your fancy 3 phase electricity....

What's she good for? 35 CFM?

Nice score!

Big pulley on the pump, must be fairly low RPM, I like that.

1450rpm, yes, 3phase, pulls about 25 amps loaded, will have PLENTY of air to spin those air tools!

I just got back from Vegas earlier in the week, and, the deal with 3phase is this; as part of the Boulder Dam Initiative of 1929, all Western US households were to get 3ph electricity once the Dam was complete. This became the Hoover Dam, however, Electrical utilities stood to make MORE money having single phase vs 3 phase, so, we know how that went!

Nice score on the compressor Donny.

And it's a damn good thing they pulled their head out and built the Hoover damn with concrete because there's no way a boulder was gonna work IMHFO ! And IF they found one big enough how the hell did they think they were gonna move it ???

Blasted the Tank, took it in for Powder Coating in the same, or near same Orange color as original, it's at McKenzie Compressed Air Solutions getting put back together and tested, need a Belt Guard, and test it under load, see how much air it makes, and holds, etc. Here it is all pretty and all!

The wheel is one of my Trailer wheels, they're a few years old, like 15 or so, maybe more, little rusty, blast one at a time, into Powder Coating one at a time (I have 5 wheel/tire combos) so I can still operate my trailer! Do one wheel at a time, when its done, get a new tire, and mount.

Nice air compressor, Donny. Didn't know they originally came in "Vitamin C" orange.

Nice addition to your shop there Donny! :D But doll, you need to get that plastic off the powder ASAP. It can and will leave embedded marks in the finish, especially if it's sitting in the sun. That's the reason all my work is wrapped in acid free paper first before any bubble wrap goes around it.

That's what the white house uses to generate all the wind that jay carney puts out in press briefings.

He might only make it half ways to Kenya, splash down, lost at sea etc...

But, that's a chance I'm willing to take.

:headbang:

Thanks Cuda Chick, that Plastic Wrap didn't stay on too long! Yeah, WTF has happened to the USA; look at that POS we got in the White House and his hangers-on! Pa-friggin'-thetic!

Hey Donny . . . do all the lights in the neighborhood dim when you turn that "beast" on and start using it ? ? ( smile )

Great looking compressor . . .
