Anybody familiar with OBX headers?

I know nothing about them but if you try them let us know how they work.

Coming from a world of turbo Dodges like the Daytonas and shadows from the late 80s early 90s, and the SRT-4s I have heard of people using their stuff on the 2.4 srt-4 motors you might try searching on one of their forums to see if you can find any reports of the quality.
Looking on ebay seems like they make stuff for everything honda, mazda, the 5.7 Hemi, there must be a few reviews out there

If you go to the ebay listing, click on the vendor and check their negative feedback you'll get an idea of the possible hassles you'll have in dealing with this company. Maybe you'll get lucky, maybe not...

X2 on that.
I have seen some imports with OBX on them. I have heard mixed reviews from people I know that have had it installed on their cars. Depending on who I have talked to, the more expensive the build and the car. They have said, they would prefer to spend the few extra hundred or whatever it is on the tried and true manufacturers. I don't know of anyone with OBX on American muscle, but just my opinion, I would not go with them. I am just kind of picky with certain parts of my car though and have my preferred parts manufacturers.

Also having a turbo Volvo and on the Volvo forums there's some guys that cheap out on the downpipe and buy the cheap OBX downpipe and there's countless stories on quality and other stuff. I spent the extra money and got a kickass downpipe and the money spend clearly shows when compared to the OBX. I wouldn't skimp on headers and I didn't, got the TTIs.

I used OBX shorties on my 2001 Dodge Ram, 5.9 gas. I had to grind a bit of clearance for the spark plug wires, but other then that, they are fine. I would still go with TTI or Hooker for our cars though.

They have 98.5% positive feedback with 31,000 entries. I asked if they fit with power steering, and they said no. Damn!

I tried Hedman - first set didn't have the welding on the ports ground off before being coated, so I sent them back. The second set hit the torsion bar. I sent them back and tried Hookers. The ceramic coat rusted big time, so I went back to factory HP manifolds. The motor is out being worked on and now would be the time to make any change back to headers. Stock 9.2-1 motor, factory cam (228/241 @ 0.050", 115 centerline, .450int./.458 exh.). I can't justify spending $900 on TTIs, though, or even $700 on Doug's...

Factory manifolds will be fine for your setup. Run a good, 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust system, and you will be more then happy.
