First of all thanks for welcoming me into the MOPAR world. My Dad and I just purchased a numbers matching 383 69 Roadrunner that of course needs some work to get back on the road. I have been a car nut since I came out of the wound and my dad had a 69 a couple of years before I was born. If I had a dime every time he talked about or said he dreamed about that car I would be a millionaire! He retired last September and finally had the means to get a another one last week even though it will take a lot of time and more $$ to get just to a driver. I have to admit that I have never owned a MOPAR so my experience is limited but do think the 69 B bodies are some of the best body lines on the road. I love this car as much as my dad and I am sure I will be asking a lot of your opinions through this process. Thanks again for welcoming me. RRphoto.JPG

Welcome to the site. So aside from it being a 383 anything else you can tell us about the car...options? looks like it might have been vinyl top? color?

Outstanding! You just might see a side of your father that you have never seen before.

Cool beans. Great to have ya! Built my '69 for pretty much the same reason. Welcome aboard.

Nope no vinyl top pretty low options car! 2 door hardtop AM radio, Wood grain steering wheel, 4 speed, R4 color, no power steering, or PB's. The car is pretty solid but the guy who did the work did not do it how I would have! We also found out the car had been hit in the front which adds to work but first go around want a good driver car so my dad can enjoy. Going to start real soon. The engine has been rebuilt with no miles and when you start it is really rich and hard to keep running so I have to be careful. Think timing and carb needs adjusted. I will post more later.

Guys I paid $14,500 for this car do you think I paid too much for a numbers matching car with the shape it was in?
