bought a 72 sebring plus 14 yrs. ago and still working on it! Had no kids when I started and now have 3. Just got the car back from paint. I was trying to do it all myself but finally realized it will never get done so I started subbing out the jobs. Rear end, paint, I did the body work(most of it) trans. Now starting to reassemble and still finding it very hard to find the TIME! found it sitting in a walnut orchard. Asked owner if it was for sale. $500 he says. SOLD I says. #'s matching nothing missing. tranny went out and he parked it. There it sat for 8 yrs. one spot of rust and that was due to an open 1/4 window. Sprinklers in the orchard were entering through the rear 1/4 window drivers side. Rust at rear floor. Other than that the car is solid as a rock. 1972 Satellite Sebring PLUS. first run 400 with the big journals. Winchester grey with halo black top i'm going to a full white top. black interior with buckets and slapstick. engine is .030 over 9.25:1, Holley 600, weiand 8008 intake, 906 heads. It will be my daily driver. (currently driving my 66 mustang. My grandparents bought it new.) I have kept all the original parts for the sebring PLUS. I even have two blocks for it now and will be installing a 76 400 rather than the original because the machinist tried to steal my block and heads (believe me, he knew what he was doing) so I went down and had him finish up my original block and then took it home to add to the first one that he did. Hey, two for the price of one. And the beefy one is on a stand ready for "THE MAJOR PUMP!" The rear was an open with 243!!! gears. I installed a 66 sport fury rear. it is an inch narrower and I have a sure grip to install. When I find the time I will post the progress! Past mopars owened: 71 sassygrass green RR w/white int. and top. like an idiot I gave it away before I went in the Navy. Guy repainted it orange. 71 super super clean gold sebring plus from original owner. 318 car too clean to alter. sold it for double what I paid. 71 sebring plus gold 318 71 sebring green 318 premium interior with a 6 way drivers seat. sold the seat tracks for more than I paid for the car.

Hi Sebring+, nice car and choice of colour for it. I see you've been here half a year, but here's a belated welcome anyway. :) Thanks for sharing...

Welcome to FBBO. Stay with it and get 'er done. You will love driving it around.:3gears:

Moparmarks, I cut in the side markers 'cause i really like the looks of them and I am also installing a 71 rear bumper with the blackout stripes. I just like the 71 look better. Still have the original 72 bumper.
