Hi guys, what connector does the factory tach harness (engine compartment side) have at the coil end for a '70 GTX? A picture would be great. Thanks.

Here are some diagrams you can check out.

Thanks, I have the FSM, what I am looking for is what does this connector (arrow) connect to? Is it to another wire that ends in an eyelet that is attached to the neg.post on the coil? The FSM shows a solid line from the firewall to the coil, but both the harness I have and the one pictured have another connector. I know that I could just run a new wire, but I am curious as to how it is supposed to be.

The blue wire goes to the fuse box to the tach for power and the gray form tach to the + on the coil.

Sorry Baller, the wife went on a weekend road trip to the coast and apparently took my camera. My car has a connector like the one you pointed out right behind the brake booster where the tach wire comes through the firewall grommet. From the connector a same colored wire runs along the firewall and to the dist. side of the coil with an eyelet terminal connector.

Thanks for the responses guys. If I had the coil that hemi rebel posted I could see that the terminal that I indicated could fit there. I have never noticed that clip on the Repo coils;my car came with an Accel super coil.
