Just picked up a mostly rust free barn find 64 Polara hardtop. Got a few bumps and bruises but mostly complete non runner at this point. 318 v8, 2bbl, pb auto, ps, pb, 107,000 original miles. Hasn't run since 1980. Still has the original Oregon Pacific Wonderland license plates. Looking for exterior moldings - both outer headlight aluminum moldings that attach to the fender. Also need drivers door molding.

Maybe someone can help me find these parts

Thanks,

Dick

Hello and welcome to the site! :)

I've had luck here on the East Coast finding those same parts, mostly at the all Chrysler swap meet and car show event held in Carlisle, PA each year. Those moldings took a beating in parking lots back when our cars were daily drivers, so finding them nowadays without a bunch of dings in them is tough. Or, you pay top dollar for the ones that have been painstakingly restored.

I'll keep an eye out for you here in my area....

welcome to FBBO ,good luck with the project 64 Polara HT

I have three moldings for sale. One is for the drivers side the other two are for the other side.
100.00 for all three.

I also have exterior moldings, just what are you looking for?

Those headlight mouldings are called C rings. And you will have a terrible time finding driver quality ones. I have bought several from E-bay and they aren't as good as the pics show. New ones are over $400 reproduction. I finally took two of the best ones and sent them to a place that re-furbishes trim. That was expensive. There is a member here that does some great work with the grills and those C rings.................................MO

Welcome! The parts are out there but you have to hunt for them and as MO said, they all need work of some sort. If you find you need interior garnish parts i have some too. Hard top and sedan are the same in around the front windshield. Good luck with the project. Post pictures no matter the condition; we're all junkies here...

Welcome from Minnesota. I personally am always looking for parts of any kind for myself or others. This site is great and the people here are always trying to help fellow Mopar folks out so good luck and keep us up to date on your project. (Pics are great)
