Dealing with ethanol

Cenpeco makes an additive for ethanol blends. I have also read that e85 is really good for high compression engines. I'm running 12.5 in my car. It burns more fuel but is rated at 105 octane. Compared to racing fuel it would be worth it. You just have to run monster jets and a high flow pump. Do a google search on it. The only reason I haven't switched over yet is there is no stations around where I live to buy it yet.

Use StarTron enzyme additive with every fill up. This stuff is amazing beyond belief. I use it in virtually every engine I own now.

Don't take my word for it, look on Amazon and check out the unbiased reviews. It's incredible. At less than 10 cents per gallon it's the best thing you can run.

Here is a copy of my "topic of the day" from my Facebook page.

Today's subject, Star Tron enzyme fuel additive.
-------------------------------
First off, why didn't I start running this stuff years ago??

My plow truck is probably the worst running piece of crap on the planet....or WAS. It always chugged and you had to constantly pump it when plowing. I felt like Fred Flintstone. It always felt like it was running on 6 or 7 out of 8 cylinders.

The first treatment of Startron was amazing. I heard the 4 barrels open for the first time ever. After 10 gallons, it runs so good, I'm going to have to back some timing out of it. The throttle is so touchy now that it spins all 4 tires and wheel hops in the snow. It's rediculous. The engine is a 40K miler out of a friends 70 Impala. Little old lady car. It's a 250hp 350. The results on this engine alone are just shocking.

Other things.
---------------------
Honda generator that needed full choke to run, now runs perfect.

Our snowmobiles can sit for 2 weeks and will start on the first or second pull in 0° weather (mine fires in one).
It's like the gas sitting in the carbs doesn't go to skank now. Megan's sled would need the plugs pulled if it sat too long and gas shot in the cylinders to start it. Just moved it to plow, it cranked for 5 seconds and it fired right up.

My 70 Charger was loading up when I stored it. Like a needle/seat problem on the center carb. I fired it up the other day after sitting a couple months with Startron in the tank from when I last added a few gallons for storage. Idles perfect!

My Tahoe had a slight miss that is now GONE. This thing sits a lot too. Sometimes I go weeks without driving it or leaving here.

I can't wait to try this stuff in my boats. I will not run anything without it again.

First report on a friend's diesel semi truck have been outstanding. Smoother running, no black smoke at idle.

it is 3 miles per gallon difference in my 2010 150. On a 32 gallon tank, that is a big difference.

We not only subsidize farmers with taxpayer dollars, ethanol guaratees them high prices on corn and biodiesel doesn't hurt beans.

I was hoping for around 3 mpg gain as I have read about different vehicles achieving that.

I fill up with ethanol free gas every time I am in town, but I do a lot of traveling, so I have did some experimenting with my daily driver and different types of gas. My car runs a pretty high CR, so it is a little sensitive on what type of gas I put in it. I have noticed that the Shell 93, when I can find it, gives me right at the same gas mileage as the ethanol free gas and does not make my car sluggish like some of the other types of gas do. But if I fill up using something other than one of those two, I have noticed about 2 less mpg also.

We can buy both were I live, I avoid it at all cost since it is only slightly cheaper

At the moment non ethanol is about .70c higher than premium E10 at my local station, that makes it around 4.60 a gallon.

I can almost buy airplane fuel here (100 octane) for that. $4.88 last time

I don't do a thing different. Just fired up my car for the first time since October. Cranked it a few times, once it fired it ran just like it did when I parked it. Never had a problem with ethanol fuels.
I run a 1/4" carb spacer and insulated fuel line from the pump to carb and no problems with E10.

Subsidies have been cut out of the new farm bill. Ethanol has not guaranteed high corn prices. As of 3/30 it is $4.50/bu. It costs close to $800/acre to raise.
Take a look at the breakdown of the new farm bill. It has very little to do with farming. Of the $956 billion allocated for the farm bill 80% goes to food stamps.

Many of us are using aviation fuel from the local airports.....100-110 octane...ethanol free....check it out...........works great...like having a new engine........costs bit more them 93-94 octane but less then racing fuel..........

Take a look at the link below, you can look and see what your farming neighbors are getting, get ready to be sick. My tax dollars should not go to people making more than I do without it.
