Hey guys! My name's Justin, I'm 18 years old, and I'm from the bay area here in northern California. I've been on the site a while, gathering information about all these old mopars and what not to help me restore my old beauty. I changed to a different username and decided to start off on the right foot this time. This site's helped me a lot as far as getting parts, solving problems, and meeting some great people all over the U.S. of A.

On to the car. It's a '73 Charger with a 400 big block/auto trans. I picked it up last year when I was 17 for 300 bucks just a mile and a half away from my place off my now girlfriend's dad. The car was his stepson's who'd moved to a different state and left it sitting on his dad's property for almost seven years. My girlfriend's dad wanted the thing off the property so bad I almost got it for free. He was a mechanic for 23 years and wanted to see the car on the road again just as any car lover would, but he didn't have the time and couldn't justify spending the money on. The previous owner was a bit of a drug addict and I heard he got into some heavy stuff, so needless to say there were a lot of missing parts and it definitely needed some loving. The body was surprisingly straight, just usual bumps and bruises, and it only had minor surface rust. No metal replacement needed at all, and I've searched for any signs of cancer throughout the whole thing.

Of course I know y'all like your car ****, and I can't leave everyone hanging, so here's the car before and currently.

Haha thanks, Tuck. I think I mentioned I was on the site for a while under a different name and I recognize a lot of the names of the old regulars here. They are a pretty eclectic mix, and I've always loved hanging out with the older guys talking about cars and what not so this is the perfect place for me I guess.
