YEs your right, I spoke with so many TECH and reps and they dont remember what all they do,. AS I stated, not only do I have the orginal invoices and packaging I was one of their earliest customers when they advertised in MOPAR COLLECTOR,. Purchasing a Lifetime warranty demands the seller retain sales data, THis has been over 18 yrs, and so what if you paid for something and your vendor didnt solve the problem, Just becuz they spend money to place ads, doesnt make them correct with the violations of Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

dear ramenth , to whom are you referring,
Hmm.. so correct me if I misunderstand... you bought tie rods 18 years ago, and now you want new ones because they're worn ?

Obviously there is a lot more to this story that most of us will never know. And I am certainly too ignorant to pick sides. And even if I wasn't, I am way too smart to pick sides….

PST is one of the few companies that I have had great dealings with over and over. Tie rod boot split? They sent me an entire set. I put some stuff in my cart and take a few days to make sure there are no additional parts that need to be ordered...PST emails me and offers a discount to motivate my purchase. With so many businesses having a take it or leave it attitude and poor pre and post sale communication PST is a breath of fresh air. I used to be a moog guy until the sent manufacturing to Mexico. That said the OP sounds like he is wasted. If you bought the wrong parts it is your duty to return them in a timely fashion. If your parts truly failed and these guys didn't help you out I would be very surprised. Pictures would go a long way in telling this story.

I too have had only good experiences with PST. But do our experiences in this decade, and in this millennium, really count for anything in an argument that has - at it's core - experiences from nearly 20 years ago? People originally involved in this may have died or retired since. Or people now involved in this may have been in first grade when this originally happened, right?

Mr. Purcell seems to have been looking for a soap box to do a Nancy Grace like attack. And PST should just tell us they have offered him what he was offered 18 years ago, contingent on proof of purchase, and keep the details to themselves. Don't think we need a court of public opinion in everything in our lives. Just my personal outlook though.

Lifetime is a long time. I wouldn't expect my frontend assy to last that long. Even if the car sits for extended periods, things don't last forever. The only complaint I had with PST was the strut rod bushings on my 68' charger. The OEM has a steel sleeve running through the grommets. PST didn't provide that in the kit. I will be sure that the sleeves are in the next kit I purchase.

Well, lifetime is relative….I HOPE all of my parts that are covered under a lifetime warranty get a chance to wear out from old age and turn to dust. LOL. But seriously, I agree. But I still do not understand what the actual complaint is or was. But I really don't need to.

I got all the parts for my dads '70 through PST. Great company to work with. We ordered some torsion bars and found out the indexing was different afterwards. They assured me we would be ok to install them and if we wanted, we could exchange them at any time.

Even if they were installed and we were not happy with the stance, they would work with us... nonetheless, we installed them and couldn't be more pleased with their product and service, as shown by PST's posts in this thread. Seems to me one of the parties involved is more then willing to resolve this issue if provided with accurate information.

Hmm.. so correct me if I misunderstand... you bought tie rods 18 years ago, and now you want new ones because they're worn ?

that's what i was thinking too.... you buy parts long enough ago that if a kid was born when you ordered them, they'd be voting age now... and your first 2 posts are attacking other members and crapping on a reputable supplier that thousands of people (including myself) have had nothing but great service out of?

I'm sure your insight and advice will be a valuable addition to the forum family......

I guess first...... :sSig_welcometoourcl:

and then

:ban::ban::ban::ban::ban::ban::ban::ban:

They were never installed, ever do a full restorotion in a week, I do work an dam now disabled, so they have a life time warranty for your information, They are problem matic, The problem were revealed when installed ! Hmmm,

I'm late to these posts but I am curious, mrgenerallee, did you send James at P-S-T the items he requested and if so, what came of it?

If you dont know what you are doing n asking for help you are going about it the wrong way

I have still not received a copy of the invoice or photos. Please send me the info and the pictures and I will do what I can to help.

Thanks
James

I'm happy I'm not in the retail business anymore when I read things like this. I'm not so sure if everyone's unfiltered thoughts, ideas and opinions belongs online..

Yup,
I love PST
I remember this guys post back in March...:

. Dont call me a liar , Your tech asked for phone pictures of the vechicle ball joints, control arm bumpers and sway bar and packaging, to wit I did send via text and phone messages, WHen I called back twice asking for Mike I never got any further, And YES I posted photos and the poor performance on facebook as it was true, yet you delete and blocked further information, so your firm decided this was a problem , You have my information still and I still have two B body cars up on blocks . Your employees stated I never bought full brake kits either, SURE I am upset wouldnt you be? I want my product, and safe vehicle

This guy has Anger Issues.
