Hey guys, bought a pair of rear marker lights with the housings. I only need the lenses, not the housing. How the heck do I remove the lenses? It looks like there is some adhesive holding the lens in place (along with the two tabs). Any ideas?

Thanks I'll give that a try. I put them in the freezer, that didn't work.

Well, that didn't work so well- snap, snap. I soaked them in boiling water, but that #@$* adhesive stuck well. Got the one to start pulling away, but then it snapped in one corner. The other one would not move, so I soaked it longer. Still wouldn't move. Then the screwdriver I was using slipped and cracked the lens. Mother F$@*#r. Guess I need to change my sig back.

Yea, if you notice on the original lens it has a PIA right next to the 70R. I think that was their little way of letting us know later down the road it was going to be a pain in the A to get those things out. I ended up breaking one of mine before having the patience of letting it soak in warm soapy water for several hours and then very, very carefully removing it. I don't think I ever successfully removed one with tabs intact though.

Yes, I broke off one tab on each as well. A little more patience may have paid off. Lesson learned.
