Six Pack, Fuel Injection or 4BBL on a 340?

My honest opinion is you that if you have a chance to sell it, you need to identify your target market. Are you going to put a custom paint color on it, put 17" wheels and make it more modern? If you are then your buyer may be a younger guy and fuel injection would appeal and be worth a little more investment. If you plan to run 15" wheels, keep the color factory, leave a bench seat and an AM radio then you were probably better off with a 4 barrel carb because your target market is an older gent/lady who will understand how to drive and tune them.

If you keep the taste of the car consistent you will not go wrong. But that being said and me being a young guy...fuel inject the hoss. I never enjoyed the hassles of carb's and rather like just turning the key once and never fouling a plug.

Good points KB.... As far as other around the car upgrades I'm sure i'll be adding/upgrading the suspension with larger torsion bars, LCA stiffeners, adjustable strut rods, possibly some billet tie rod sleeves and C-Body Tie rods. Decent Bilstein shocks rear/front, front/rear sway bar and probably XHD springs. Subframe connectors as well. Front brake disc conversion and C-Body 11" rear drums...Wheels -15" Probably a decent MPS/IPOD/USB/Pandora radio, 4-6 speakers.

I think if I tied that all together with a fuel injected 340 @400HP or so, with a hurst 4speed, I probably wouldn't have a problem targeting across a broad range of age groups. Wheel design and paint color, well that's not up to me. Hopefully it isn't pink...lol
