Finally get to post my completed A12 , its wearing its "attitude" tires that give the car a whole new personality--old school like me.IMG_20140504_142022.jpgIMG_20140504_132131.jpg

Just shooting some R4 base on my hoods under side and between coats.
Lots of great pics. on this thread.
Any rubber layed down near Branchton I wonder?

Bee looks pretty cool with extra large tires Skip

Nice to hear your making progress on your Dart Dave, been wrestling with the throttle lever adjustment on my tranny, so no burnouts till I get that right, had a bog on the get go so --put a larger squirter and more aggressive accelerater pump cam that got rid of that problem-Also got a leaky rear main seal to deal with which is kind of shiddy, other than that the car runs really strong and the 12" x 30" tall M/T streets make the 4:10 gears a little more highway friendly. Be up to see you in a few weeks maybe we'll have a few cold one's.:icon_winkle:IMG_20140504_152348.jpg

The Bee looks great! Congrats! Sure is nice to see an A12 get bought (not flipped), restored and used!

Thanks for that Kid, it is a whole new experience driving this B body after driving A Bodies for a number of years--I must say I really like the ride and the feel of torque from that big ol 440 when the front and rears kick in, few bugs to work out yet but other than that going to be a fun summer!! Cheers

Pics of my dads from years ago... Unfortunately he sold it but doubled his money to finish his challenger.

Wow! Just ran through this whole thread & that f-6(?) B with white stripe & top looks just like the one my older brothers buddy had. Was that car from StLouis by any chance? If so, it was a 12.90 car pure stock. Course it was an A-12, 4speed,with the Super Trac Pac. Wonder if that is/was Dago's car ? Think it was #92 on page 5.

yup there are some real nice A 12 `s posted a lot of real nice looking color combos too :headbang:

Hey Skip are those 295/65/15's on the back? I bought that size and they were touching fender on drivers side. I had to go with the 295/55. Wanted the taller for same reason.....highway friendly.

Hey Big country, yes they are-- ran into some clearance issues as well only have 1/4 " on both sides at the front of the tire, still running them but have rubbed and even peeled off a pc off the wheel lip moulding.

Might space the front spring hanger back another 1/4 " or maybe do as you have and cut down on the diameter. Still having fun thou. Cheers.IMG_20140519_192709_1700_1050.jpg
