What's it worth. A little help.

I'll give as much detail as I know. Here's the story. I have a woman friend who's husband passed about a year and a half ago. In his will their house was supposed to be paid off with the cash he had locked in his desk drawer at the families business. Well after passing the family told her there was no cash, which is BS he had plenty of money. Which is why I believe he didn't take any shortcuts doing/having this car restored. She needs to sell the car now to keep the house. It's a 73' Charger, been in climate controlled storage the last 1 1/12 years. Was running/driving only used for a few months before he passed. Hasn't been run since. I plan on getting it running for her. 400ci not sure if it's #'s matching, no idea right now on any specs. I know she has some paperwork from 2010 for engine work. AT, once again no idea if it's been touched. From what she said it was very sad when he got it. So I'm inclined to believe it's got all new metal as $$ was not an issue. I haven't been able to get under it but from what I could see there seems to be no rust issues. The car is dust covered from storage so it's hard to tell the paint condition, but it looks like there are some imperfections. Maybe something a buff/wet sand would take care of? Not sure I'm not a body man.
I know the bottom line is "It's worth whatever someone will pay" But I'm trying to get an idea where to start. Seems to me from what I've seen maybe $10k on the high end?

The car needs a good cleaning. Looks like a driver to me. If you can get 10 take it.
 
As suggested a good clean up should do wonders along with some fresh photos outside. I dont think 10 is out of line for a quick sale maybe 8500-9000...
 
After I get it running I'll get it out and cleaned up with good pics.
 
I agree. Clean, ask $10k, and take the best offer that you get. And if she can, get the thing out on the road with a For Sale sign in the window. Impulse buyers always pay more. :)
 
Gen 3's are tough, if it was a 71 R/T or Super Bee $10k would be easy sell, but after that they went down a bit in value, they're great cars to get cheap IMHFO, 73 a little less desirable but $7k-$8k, to the right person $10k maybe, that would be in the ballpark, I would think, out here in Calif. anyway, In Mass. maybe I'd say less, unless it's completely rust free, runs, drives really well & also depending what you can't see in them photos, #'s matching would help with the overly **** types too could be the difference between a $7500 car & a $10,000 car {especially if you have all the original stuff, taken off}, at-least it's a BB car, that helps some too... Unfortunately not allot of love for the 3rd gen's yet, they don't bring very good money yet, looks relatively clean & solid... I'd like to find a nice 71 R/T someday... Good luck
