I bought a Russell dual inlet fuel line kit and one side is flexible that I put on the back bowl of the carb, but the other side that comes out of the front bowl hits off the intake manifold. It's a Edelbrock performer intake that's on the 440. I was just wondering if there is an available fitting that's shorter or if anybody else ran into this. I could use it and run the fuel line across the back of the fire wall I guess? I'd rather run it up front though.

look in either summit or jegs.i am sure someone like earls or aeroquip make something that will work 4 you.

I couldn't really find anything for this fix. So I had a Edelbrock TM-7 here so I tested the carb and the fuel line. It cleared the intake manifold perfect.

To use the Eddy, put a 1/2 inch spacer under the carb:blob1:

I like "bling":headbang:

I like the idea of running the line in the back across the fire wall to keep heat off it.

Al,
You trying to save gas by wiring only one plug on that hemi or trying to give the rest of us a chance in a race? lol

I'll give ya the leave and 3 cylinders,,,,,,,,LOL

Travis, I ran into the same issue with my performer intake and a fuel log with similar ends. I didn't have the room for a spacer, which as previously mentioned, would have been my easiest fix. So, I had a tm 6 (for 383) and put it on. Fit no problem except for the log leaked. So I ended up with another flexible fuel line anyway.

Spacer I think would be the easiest if you have the room, rather than put the single plane tm7. Unless of course you've been looking for a reason to use that intake:headbang:

I don't believe a spacer will work, it's pretty closed now as it sits with the performer. I'm just taking it as an excuse to make the 440 a bit quicker. I have a lot of new parts for the 440 now, I am just waiting for the cam to arrive.

You need to search summit's website. I had a similar issue and just decided to build my own. Not very fancy, but it gets the job done. They definitely have fittings for you, even if you need to buy some 6AN tubing and build it yourself.

Try these, then you need 2) 6AN nuts, several of inches of tubing and a tubing bender and blamo - custom fuel line that fits the intake you have.

O, the link would help.

That looks great thanks for the help. My fuel line works with the TM-7 so I'm going to use that one!
