Looks like a fun project! Just wondering though, how is it that you are going to operate those POWER Brakes with that cam?

Enquiring minds want to know???? :icon_scratch:

I have a vacuum canister to try! Hopefully it helps.

Just remember, the engine has to actually MAKE some vacuum before a canister will do ANYTHING for you. The canister is just a storage device, nothing more. You will need 15-16" vacuum minimum for good brakes. Been there, done that!

Good luck!

Yeah I'm hoping it will work ok. I guess I will find out over the next few weeks when I get time to put my engine back together.

Well I finally made some time yesterday for myself so I went out in the garage and I put my engine back together. Now I have to make lots of time this week to put it back in, and swap out my 8.25 for my 8.75 that I rebuilt with a 489 case, Auburn limited slip and 4.10 Richmond gears.

Looking good!

Does your engine stand become a little scary, when you get the whole engine assembled? I know mine does...

Thanks! Yeah it does get kind of scary, I certainly wouldn't want to be laying underneath it! Lol

looks good let us know how it runs when you get it back in the car

Looking very nice! Hopefully the weather takes a turn for the better! As for the brakes....you could always convert it to manual.
