I have a 67 coronet and need to know if a 440 with Eddy RPM intake and holley carb will fit under a stock hood.

not sure you will have enough room left to run an air cleaner.rpms are pretty tall, might be better off with a std performer.what is the rpm power band of your cam?

There are guys out there running them, most likely have to find a drop base. Some are running a K&N Extreme lid for added flow.
I'm sure someone will chime in.
Have a RPM on the shelf that I plan on swapping on to my 440. Running a Torker2 now, RPM looks to about .50 taller.

Gpuller, are you using a drop base on your torker 2? Happen to have any pictures? About to switch factory 4 bl to a torker 2 on my 440 in a 69 charger.

No not running a drop base, just a real short filter, too short. Don't think I could run a drop base, it would hit on the kickdown linkage.
Will look to see if i have a pic.

i used on on my 68 charger and it was tight but cleared.rubbed the insulation, but cleared the hood.you might have to find the right drop base, some have extra cut outs to clear linkage if you have a problem.

So I finally got the 512 dynoed yesterday. Builder used a victor440 manifold. No way is it going to fit under hood of stock 67 coronet. I ordered a torker2. Will that fit? Edelbrock says I won't lose much power at all with that manifold

See my post. I'm running a RB w/T2 intake. Sorry, no pics.

Oh...so what about build specs and dyno numbers? :headbang:

Sounds like a beast! Hopefully you can post up some pics when you get it on the road.

I got the best clearance with a 1 1/4" drop base, 2 5/16" K&N Xtreme filter and a K&N filtered top.

I used to have an edelbrock performer but I recently replaced the intake (again) on my 383. I used the TM6, which I believe is similar in height to to the torker. Also using With a holley 4150 and a mopar air cleaner. Fits fine under the hood of my 69 charger just fine. Hope this can help.

Get a chassis-dyno too and let us know the numbers.

I'm running the RPM intake with a Moroso drop base air cleaner and a 1/2" carb spacer and it just fits under the stock hood. Whereabouts are you in SoCal?
