Steering column bering

Has anyone been able to locate a steering column bearing for a 67 manual steering b-body car?

I have found out that 67 is a unique year, and the solution to this problem is to change to a 68 column, which parts are more readily available for.

But I found a bearing that may work from classic industries. Has anyone else been through this?

I know this isn't very helpful, but here it is: I dealt with this a few years back on my '67- I needed the lower bearing and the nylon support. I found a guy that was making the support and had ball bearings available, but no shells. I found one lower bearing (NOS) at a dealership in the midwest after a long, long search. The upper bearing was the same as later years, if I remember correctly. It was an available reproduction part, at least. It appears that the guy's website is gone, and last I talked to him, he wasn't going to make more...

So- to the bigger point- if it's the lower bearing, check a catalog of sealed bearings. I recently found one that was the right ID/OD for my '72 Dart (which had no lower bearing). It replaced the plastic support too. I little work got me a nicely supported steering shaft that is fully sealed.

Previous thread is high. I'm sure you can get cheaper. Thr upper bearing is still available from any dealership. Price alone is between $7-$15. Doesn't matter if manual or not. Got mine for $10 + tax at my dealership
