Any one know of any one that restores the bezel section of the instrument panel? If not, any one know what paint to purchase to mimic the original finish. I am working on a 65 Dodge Coronet. Thanks for your help.

I've tried every kind of paint on the market and they all look like ****. IMVHO. Get it professionally restored or buy a new one. Good luck.

I guess it depends how much money you want to spend. I rebuilt my instrument cluster this winter on my 63 Dodge. I touched up the needles with fluorescent orange pant and the chromed portion I sanded any rough spots, cleaned and sprayed with palstic adhesion promoter. Then primer and Duplicolor chrome paint. It isn't as shiny as chrome but looks more like polished aluminum. It is very presentable and my Polara is not a trailer queen. The first pic is a side by side of old and rebuilt. Second pic is completed cluster. Last pic is the old cluster. DSCF0487.jpgDSCF0488.jpgDSCF0486.jpgDSCF0485.jpgDSCF0484.jpgDSCF0483.jpg

Thanks to both of you. I will try to get some before and after photos regardless of how we do it.
