Are there any good books or guides for removing the window regulator from a '71 Charger?

I can tell my driver's door one is worn or some part on it is worn (the window binds, doesn't line up properly, and bumps when rolling up or down). I have all the door panels and trim removed.

I have Larry Lyles' Project Charger: The Step-by-Step Restoration of a Popular Vintage Car, but was wondering if there was a better or more specialized one or steps.

Thanks for your help!!!

I'm in Oceanside. Where are you in Cali? Getting them out is easy, getting everything back in is another story. There are a few threads on here, probably in the interior section, that you can search for that have lots of pics. Or if you're close by I can show you first hand. I did mine not too long ago.

Not very close.... Glendale. Camp Pendleton, awesome!!! I looked in the interior folder, so I'll look elsewhere. Thanks!

Thanks! Now I just need to cut away the outsides of the doors for easy access. JK! The passenger side seems to roll up and down ok (no binding and bumping like the driver's door), but it doesn't always line up. It's not helping that the weather striping isn't tacked up properly and is falling out. Do you have any steps and tips for alignment and adjustments?

I might just have to trailer the whole mess to Oceanside.

With the door panel off still, roll the window up about 3/4's of the way, shut the door, then from the inside, roll it up the rest of the way, or close to, make some adjustments, lightly snugging as you go and finish rolling it up while making whatever tweaks necessary till it sealed up nicely, tighten everything down, roll the window up/down a few times to check alignment, the go get a beer and a bunch of band-aids for all the cuts you'll have on your arms...lol, really, it shouldn't be all that hard, gets easier after you've done a few.
