Hi Dennis H. I was talking to one of my good friends today & we were trying to remember your Coronet. By 1989 I was pretty much out of it but I'm sure we probably know some of same people.
 
I meant before that. Trying to find out if it was a local car. Anshant Dodge? Bought it from a guy in Danielsville. Has an Export tag on it too. Thanks.
 
Khryslerkid, check out my black 63 on my gallery.The photo was given to me at Chryslers at Carlisle about 4 years ago by the guy who took it in 1972. He knew it was my car & just walked up to me & handed me the picture in a nice frame. I have no idea why he was walking around the swap meet with a 38 year old picture of my Dodge but it was cool that he gave it to me. The photo was taken at Maplegrove by the way.

I used to cruise Northamton & the Hillside drive-in once in awhile because my car wasn't well known up there & I thought I could get some runs but somebody knew I was packing a Maxwedge motor in my Dodge & that was that. I guess bad news spreads fast & there was no money to be made up there. I don't remember seeing your Coronet up there at that time.

Hi Budnicks. The "Superbird" was actually Arnie the Farmer Beswick's AA/FC back in the early 70's. If my info is correct, my car was the 2nd of his BOSS BIRD cars. His 1st one was supposedly destroyed in a fire. That one was Pontiac powered & had a body on it that more resembled a Trans-Am with the T/A style flairs on the back. The car I had may have been the only one Arnie campained with a blown HEMI, & it was lettered on the front spoiler "MR. B's HEMI tractor. That body did not have the T/A flairs in the back so it was more of a conventional Firebird funny-car body of the time. The chassis by Logghe & tin-work by Al Bergler. It was an "easy" car to drive, went down the track straight (usually) & kept my *** as safe as it could be in a car of that nature. It only tried to eat me once at the Grove in 82 when the steering box broke but that's another story. By the way Budnicks I would have loved to have made some passes in that injected altered on your gallery, that looks like a fun ride to me. At least I thought it was in your pictures posted somewhere, apologies if it wasn't one of yours, starting to suffer from C.R.S. Over & out!!

Hi Budnicks. I studied both photos & I think the lower one is the car I had. If you look at the front edge of the front & rear wheel opennings it doesn't appear to have the T/A style flairs of the upper photo car. By the way, my son informed me that I drove that car in 84, 85 & 86, what the hell do I know.

Hi super-bee_ski. I sold the rolling chassis of that car to a guy in Banger, Pa ( I think ). He put a bigblock Chevy in it & proceeded to crash the car on his 2nd pass ever in the car at Island Dragway in New Jersey!!!!??? I warned him it wasn't like driving his door slammer car & to "GET USED TO IT FIRST BEFORE TRYING A FULL THROTTLE PASS". He informed me that if I could drive that car so could he! He was right, I just never hit any thing with it in the 3 years I drove it. I lost track of it after that. Check out my white 63 Dodge in my gallery, thats what I play with now ( Maxwedge powered of course ). I will get more pictures up of it now, thats the way it looked when I got it 10 years ago.
