440 Source - Warranty

Update on some good customer service X 2!

Mity Mounts has already shipped my replacement mount and provided a track #. Guess it wasn't as complex for them as they believed it would be... would be nice if this led them to realize they can start selling direct to Canada :) (although dealing with 440 Source for the purchase was fine except for the ridiculous shipping charge!)

For the Shumacher Torque strap I contacted National Moparts (A fairly local specialty dealer)... they advised me they didn't have the strap in stock but would check for delivery and call me back... Called me back the next day and said delivery will take about 2 weeks... BUT... I had one already in a customer order and I called him and asked when he needed it and he said a month... so I asked if I could give you his and order him another and he said "Of course!" Thanks to this stranger and National Moparts for making that happen! Hopefully have this thing sewn back together and toughened up next week.

I have a Mity mount and an OE mount for the right side. Let me know if you need it, we can work something out. Just saying

Well i had one time dealing with them a few years back .... And it was NOT GOOD & they where rude & made a joke out of my issue so with that said they have never seen or will ever see a SINGLE CENT from me again period.

SO I need to retract my claim about the Mity Mount breaking! Although it did appear that way what had actually happened was the nut backed off from the Stud and had allowed for play.... How that happened is anyone's guess as the nut was put on with an impact and was definitely tight but it's now been replaced with a lock nut and with the addition of a torque strap I'm confident the problem is solved!
