I am selling a 1970 GTX that is a complete rolling body less engine. The old orange paint job makes the car look way worse than it is and this car is very solid and straight.
The transmission is in the car as well as the rear end but I do not know the ratio. This is a fairly high option car and is B5 blue and no vinyl top. The options include: console automatic transmission, bucket seats, tach, power brakes, factory a/c, performance hood treatment, remote mirror. The air grabber hood is an original in nice condition but is not original to this car. The airbox is missing but the door and hinge is there.
This is a solid southern car that has not been in the northern road salt. The under body looks very clean and there is no rust issues in the cowling, firewall, inner fenders, doors, roof. The only rust issues I see is around the wheelwells and the bottom of the quarters. This car will not need complete quarters, just patch panels. I will confirm the trunk floor condition later this week.
The dash and rallye gauges all look to be complete and intact and the woodgrain trim all looks very nice. The interior has been sealed and not rained in and is completely intact.
You will save thousands starting with a basically complete car like this that has most of the very hard to find parts intact over starting with a disassembled basket case that is missing everything.
The car is located in NW Arkansas and there is a title.
The price is 8500.00
I will post more info and more pictures later in the week.
Please PM me for my number.
Thanks, Steve

Wish I could buy it. Looks like a big block car. I have a nice core for a 431 stroker that would go good with that roller.

Hello, yes it is an original 440 4 Barrel HP car that was a driver until the engine was pulled.

Great looking car Steve....if I was looking right now I'd be all over it like a rash. Looks like it might have driven past mine at the Assembly Plant :hello2:
Good luck with the sale.

Hello, I spent a little more time looking the car over and have an update to the description. The car will need a trunk floor and quarter extensions, some patchwork on the bottoms of the quarters and around the outer wheel houses and the panel between the rear window and the trunk replaced. The passenger rear footwell will need a small patch but the rest of the floors look fine. The original skid plate k frame and all suspension looks great and the underbody is perfectly clean and not rust scaled. This is a car that was not driven in the northern road salt. The transmission crossmember looks great and the inner fenders, cowling, roof, firewall, door jambs all look great. The air grabber hood is very nice and super solid and straight. There is also a good title.
The price has been dropped to 7500.00. Please PM me if you are interested in discussing this further.
Thanks, Steve

YIKES!
Lots of options!
My second look at this car!
Wow!
It is an AC car...how cool is that!

Sweet car for someone!

Good luck Steve!

It is odd the original buyer went for the A/C but not power steering.
