Well, I was never actually gone just been busy as a one armed paper-hangar (that's probably not PC but I really don't care). Over the past year my department at work was reorganized (for the second time in 3 years) which involved me getting a new position (not promoted just different), my wife took a new job so we relocated (okay so we only moved 30ish miles but the whole house hunt, selling the old house, move, etc was time consuming) AND I decided to finally finish the Bachelors degree I started in 1981. Oh yeah I decided it was also time to get fit and over the last few years have lost more that 100 pounds and run in a full marathon and a few half marathons as well as some shorter races.

Enough of that, I still have the Cordoba and did make some improvements as time permitted The best improvement was changing the carb out, I had an Eddy 750 that I switched to a Holley 670 made my quarter mile times/speed more consistent (don't start ragging on the Eddy carb, it was fine, my son and I, just couldn't get it dialed in). I also added a set of exhaust cut outs and proved that my tail pipes were hurting my times (knocked almost 2/10s of my ET) It is now running consistent 14.02s and I know there's more in there. I'll post a pic of the latest track day as soon as I find it.

I've got more that I plan on doing but as with most of you, the house, job, and school, are priorities right now. I do have a little extra time now that we're settled so I'll log in and post more often.

Have a great one,

Jim

Welcome back! I hate priorities when it places the car last! Lol!

hi and welcome back :headbang:

Welcome back toolguy. I've been "away" for a little bit too...not so's anybody would notice. Glad to hear you've still got that beautiful Cordoba and that you've found some time to work on it, make some passes, AND lose 100(!) lbs, not to mention a marathon(!). Dang...you HAVE been bizzy.

My wife was doing some unpacking and found this picture from my most recent trip to the track. Not a bad launch for a nose heavy car huh?
