I overhauled the front end on my Satellite a few months ago and it drives well but it could handle better, especially when cornering. This car is a base model and doesn't have a stabilizer bar. The last Satellite I had 30 years ago was a Sebring and had a stabilizer bar. Seems like I remember it handling a lot better. My question is, have any of you installed a bar on a car that didn't have one from the factory and if so, did it make a difference? Thoughts?

Heck yeah it makes a difference!! Use poly bushings on it too. I like to go with slightly less heavy duty on the springs but use bigger bars for a better straight line ride yet still gives great cornering.

I have seen several kits that are available. Which do you recommend?

This one is from Firm Feel--and what a positive difference it made; outstanding!

You will be glad you did, and will be even happier if you put in a smaller rear bar too.

Update-I finally installed a front stabilizer bar and the difference is amazing! Did a little research and went with the Hellwig. Great quality and fairly easy to install.
