Made it to the Nats, had to take my Ram 5500 dump truck as it's to much for my 2014 1500 sport gas. Got into gate E and have the car all set up in position 5. Stop by and say hello in judged show.

Yes, I did get to meet 68 Chicken and Mopar & Missiles, who parked behind me with a beautiful red super bee. What a great couple of guys. I am almost suasidal but it happens, since Mitch asked how I did I guess I must fork up. Not sure what happened yet but when the judge said ok start your motor my battery was dead and I have a hidden disconnect. I bought a jump pack but it charged up immedialty and the gauge was even indicating charge. They tell me this is an automatic disqualification. I might as well say something really stupid like, we at least had a really great time. My grandson wants to buy a car and we can use my money and fix it up. It looks like I might need to start a project with him. It was nice to meet Mitch and I am looking forward to meet some of the other guys here and maybe seeing his projects in the works.

Mark, it was really great meeting you as well. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to talk, but with the judging and all the other people stopping and asking questions about our cars, it was pretty hectic there for a couple of days. Also, its a darn shame about your battery problem because that Charger of yours is a really beautiful car. Its actually pretty amazing how many REALLY NICE cars there are at this event. I had to be real careful not to drool all over almost every car I looked at this year.
68Chicken, sorry I missed seeing you. It would have been nice to meet you too and be able to put another face to the name. Did you have a car here this year? Maybe I saw it and just didn't know whose it was?
Anyway, the NATS was great this year, the weather was darn near perfect and like I said earlier, the cars were all awesome.

Yea, wished we had more time to chat. It was a nice time this year, weather was great. I don't understand why the attendenace was way down. The motel was only half full. keep in touch, maybe another show we will catch up.
