Power Window and Convertible top relays ? Are there new relays that will work in place of the originals, they seem dificult to find, and when you do , they are like buying Gold . Thanks for any Advice.

If you cant get the originals rebuilt there are plenty of relays that will work. But you will most likely have to change the connector. Ron

Do you actually have relays in the system? My '66 did not (windows or top) There is only one circuit breaker also and it is used for the top and windows. Do your windows & top operate with the key off? if they do there are probably no relays.

Thanks for all the replys so far, I am trying to finish a 5 year project, I started with a car in a box and changed the dash to a Rally dash also, I had nothing to compare anything to, I find the manual only goes so far. I have the top and power windows in the car , all wires to the drivers kick panel and that's where I stop. I have been trying figure out the connections from there, the manual talks about relays which I know I do not have. Any help appreciated . Thanks

68's used a 3 pin relay mounted to the dash frame with a screw...the dash mount was the 4th pin on the relay which is switched power ground for it
