69 GTX question

Thanks hugely, bro: one minor problem - since I decided to build the car without the horizontal trim and welded the holes up, I don't have that reference point anymore. No panic though, I appreciate what you've done. If you were able to measure from the top of the T in GTX up to the window sill that could work.

And how about a picture of the complete car???

Thanks a heap, got it going.:headbang:.

I used the plug welded holes for the trim to establish the molding line.

Awesome take apart/detailing pics on your car, wouldn't even want to guess the hours. Good job.

Thanks! Its been a labor of love and the greatest honor of mine to be doing this for my Dad. Its been just under a year and a half now as we got the car the end of last April and have been doing work to the car in between car shows. Funny as it is, this is not my full time job which I guess adds to the love of it. The fact that we have such an original and unmolested car is a huge asset to start with. The downside is that there was 45 years of grease and gunk under the car. Possibly a blessing in disguise as Im sure it saved a lot of the markings and such but still a chore to clean up none-the-less. Either way, grease or no grime, I wouldn't have it any other way!
