Sounds good to me!

I rebuild the starter with a new bendix and changed the valve cover gaskets for some Superformance Carbon-X for many more leak free miles. Tonight I will finish adjusting the toe-in so the steering wheel is perfectly centered and then it's time to replace the trans cooler lines with something a little less mangled. Not sure what happened there but it's time for them to go!

I might have to do some tuning on the carb it has a little lean misfire when you floor it on a cool night. These cars sure are fun to work on!

haha thats right, you keep fixing up my baby for me so it's good and ready when I am lol...:D I wish I lived closer I would come over and give you a hand

Typical parts required in a Bendix replacement shown in picture. I replace the plunder gasket with some space age high temp plastic gasket material that we always end up tossing out at work. I have always wondered what is inside the bendix clutch. Perhaps tonight I'll slice this old one up to see what's going on in there. Also of note is the stripped out section of threads on the small stud. This is very typical of these from being over tightened. I replace them with a stainless piece.

Did you sell the coronet Jeremiah? I don't see it on Craigslist or ebay anymore.

Hey there!

After a relatively unsuccessful ebay listing we have decided to stop advertising the car for sale. The new race car should be here in the next two weeks so the need to sell this one is somewhat obsolete. I am going to start gathering parts for a single turbo and EFI, or at least that is the directive that was handed down from "management". "Make is fast and quiet" was the message lol.

I'm glad your keeping it! If you change you mind in another year hit me up as I should have a nice chunk of money saved up to start shopping seriously for my old mopar:)
Take care and gl with your racecar!
Mike
