Their are a lot of carpet companies selling carpets for my 77 Cordoba. Back in the day carpets came in one piece and now I notice they come in 2 pieces, as in my cuda. I plan on getting a new carpet and looking for suggestions on good quality ones. Also, most offer a Mass Backing option, adding 50% or so to the cost. It sounds good in the details but I see some fit issues being so thick. Has anyone here used the mass backing option? I plan on putting down some sound blocking material first but if this mass backing stuff does the trick, I may skip the peal and stick.

ACC price delivered to Buffalo New York...$264.
Ebay seller selling ACC brand, delivered to Buffalo, New York...$145

Both are the same ACC brand, both made to order, both shipped from ACC. Why the huge price difference?

Got mine from Trim Parts, nice fit.

Because manufacturers would be cutting their throat if they sold the same item at the same price as their dealers. Manufacturers usually sell list/retail, they sell to their dealers at a discount and the dealer sets his price based on his profit margin.

That's a pretty wide margin - unless ACC doesn't really want to sell to the public. Those numbers don't make sense.

To your original question I put dynamat under my new carpet and everything fit nicely. Deadened the sound nicely as well.
