my front hard brake lines went beneath the passenger side frame or over the frame and through the fender well?

Tech Question #4 - SMH....I neglected to pay attention to where my front hard brake lines were run (over the frame on the passenger side or beneath the frame). I'm trying to order my new SS front brake lines but there are two types. Over the frame through the inner fender or under the frame.. How can I tell what I had?

Do you have any holes where the mounting clips attached? Need any photos to help decide?

Rusty, Mine went above the frame rail on my 68. Take a look at some of the pics on my build thread.

You guys are like an hour apart. You could go have a look at 68Chicken's car.

Started Labor Day weekend early. So, I'll get some photos of my 69 Coronet by this evening.

Mitch... I think it pokes through the round hole on the rubber splash shield ont eh inner fender. There is a little round hole in the rubber flap.

That is correct, my friend.

Sorry I did not post sooner. I'm not sure this is correct but this is how the previous owner installed my front brake hard line from driver side to passenger side.

So, it looks like they went under the frame on the driver side and over the frame on the passenger side. I think there is supposed to be a splash shield over the hole where the lines were ran. So, I'm thinking it's not suppose to go through at that point. If you look closely there is a small hole where the line could have been ran on the passenger side left of the brake line.

69 Coronet hard lines

I was afraid of forgetting too so I took several pics of the brake lines on my 69 'Net before pulling. Hope these help.

I guess I was wrong about the path the line takes on the passenger side. Glad to help.

I will have to reference this back when I'm trying to figure out what and where things attach to the proportioning block and the master cylinder.
