Found some archived discussions on the topic but have a couple of questions on sources for a 69 dash pad w/ metal frame.

From what I've read, Just Dashes is the best but very pricey and while I'd love to have the 3 gauge version, it's not in the budget. Am aware of Year One, PG Classic, Classic Industries carrying these but I'm always hunting for the best deal.

Have come across a Dash Pad Pros www.dashpadpros.com but not finding much on them- does anyone have experience?

Everything I've read about Ultimate Rides/Dash Masters says to stay far, far away so wasn't sure if this was the same group or not.

Have also found an Ebay seller with metal core units out of El Paso called 4Thepool so if anyone has experience with that seller curious to know, has 100% feedback but sells a lot of non-car related items as well.

Seems like most of the negative feedback on any dash comes from the E-body guys, which to me makes sense due to the complexity of those dashes versus the simple design on the 69-70 B-body.

I have a 1970 E-body and I sent my worn out original dash to Just Dashes 10+ years ago now. They did a really nice job restoring my core but as you mentioned, it wasn't cheap. Still looks great though so for me and for that car it was worth it. They are who I'd use again if I needed dash work done. Maybe for a 69 B Body, Just Dashes is in the ballpark price-wise with everyone else?

Instrumentspecialties.com is suppose to do great work too. All work is done in house but I think they are pricey too.
