Maybe you meant gas monkey garage on the show fast & loud?
Yeah these tv shows have warped people's minds into believing there car is worth more than most are willing to pay.

All original survivor with a complete front end rebuild and carb swap. LOL

Nice car IMHO. Not BIG on the color tho.

this s nice!.....Sonny wouldn't push it out of his garage! :icon_rolleyes:

Saw that car listed last year for more than that. Big demand for Chargers in Canada. Which show were you at Karl?

They don't make any more 69 chargers, someone will buy this one.

I was up on Quadra Island for the long weekend. There was a show and shine in Campbell River on Sunday (North Island Cruisers).
Great turn out...too bad the Super Bee is in the body shop! There's always next year I suppose.

Well I know of a great little car show in Osoyoos 2nd weekend in June every year. And we could use a few more Mopars in it.

Beautiful car, and I love the color. But yeah.. that price seems a tad high. Guess I won't contact him like the ad said... I'm sure someone will pay him $30k or near to it for that though

There is a beating Mopar heart w/30,000 in cash looking for this car! It's gonna take em back to the 70's and cruisin'.:headbang:

That car is in pretty good shape n well worth it here in canada they ask that n more for some restored junk.its quite a find, good luck with sell.if it was an r/t with a 440 the price would be higher.

Are you saying that nobody is willing to pay that much, cause if so than I beg to differ. I wouldn't call it a survivor, that engine has obviously been repainted, and the interior has that look of a brand new car. Although the paint does look to be original though. The car appears to be honest, just not a survivor, I see no reason why it shouldn't be worth dramatically less than his asking price.

If my racecar was sold...I'd consider it for my street-killer conversion.

The Charger is worth every bit up to whatever someone is willing to pay. To me a 45 year old car won't even be serviceable if not for routine repairs. Brakes, shocks, and front end work was common when they were three years old. Those repairs in itself doesn't violate the so-called "survivor" label. If there is any old mopar worth 30k in the condition of the car in the Ad, it is a 68 or 69 Charger.

I doubt there are many present charger owners today that would sell their car for 30k in the condition of this one.
But, time will tell,,,,

Cool car,id like to have it! pretty sure that shiny motor has been out before though.Someone would pay 30K im sure but it would have to be 25 for me to cut a cheque...
