I just replaced my SS springs with new ones because the car was sagging a lot on the pass. side. When I laid the old one on top of the new one there was a 3-5" difference. The old one was flattened out for sure. So I knew I needed new ones. Now that I have all new parts bolted in the car(3400lbs SS springs, poly bushings, shackles, and u bolts) the car is still sagging on the pass side.

SO, I am thinking it is the shocks. I can raise the pass side easily by hand at it will stay for a bit but will sink down again.

This is a drag car (10.5). I put the 3 way Comp. Engineering shocks on it. They are not new but not super old either. At sometime last year I didn't have the pinion snubber installed and the axle tubes rotated to much and dented the shock housing.
Could the shocks be my sagging issues?

SS springs are biased on the passenger side....ie, it should be higher than the driver's side. You sure you have the right side spring on the right side?

Yup...
And, "Shock absorbers" will not adjust your ride height (Unless they are Air Shocks)

Springs adjust ride height along with torsion bars...

What about your torsion bars? If you jack up the rear of the car in the center, does the right front sag?

Springs are installed on the correct side.
I have new bars up front and just had the front aligned.
I was grasping at straws with the "shocks" because I can not figure out why the pass side is sagging

As ski said, the shocks don't dictate ride height unless they are air shocks. You can take the shocks off the car and it will sit at exactly the same height. Was it the driver's side shock that was damaged? If so, and it was damaged while extended, that might cause the driver's side to sit higher. And, as cranky said, try jacking up the rear and see what the front does. Some alignment shops have no idea concerning torsion bar adjustments.

You just may need to readjust your front T-bars. Few if any alignment shops will touch the T-bar adjustment in an alignment.

Before going any further, disconnect the shock on all 4 corners and bounce the car vigorously up and down on both ends several times and see where it rests. If the pass side is still low, then jack up the rear under the pumpkin as said above and see if the front sags on the pass side, If so then you need to adjust the front pass T-bar.

How about your spring mounts? Both front and rear. Make sure all four are located right, and haven't been moved.

Mine has a noticeable lean in the rear too with S/S springs..... No worries....

Which way is it leaning? SS springs are supposed to be biased on the right side making it sit up a bit higher than the left side.

Funny you ask....
I was sitting here wondering that very thing!!! I just checked and,,,,It is leaning the WRONG way!!! I remember thinking something wasn't adding up, but figured they must have things labeled correctly and instructions written to match...
The instructions give the part number Last two digits are different if memory serves,,, and specifies "Drivers side / Passenger side".....
I just counted spring leafs and they are wrong..... The sticker labels wrapped around were wrong!!!!! they are backwards!!!!! Mine has the 8 leaf shown as drivers side and 6 leaf as passenger side..... They are installed as labeled instead of as they should have been, with the higher leaf count on the passenger side!!! Oh well,,,,, maybe this winter I'll swap them around....

Ok, now I'm cornfused.....is the spring with 8 leafs on the passenger/right side? If so, that's where is should be.

I think he said the labels were swapped (from the supplier?) and the 8 leafs ended up on the driver's side.....

Mine sits just about even. But, on my 64, had to re-mount front hangers anyway, since I pulled them while working the body. Kinda recall different numbers on them for right/left? Not positive on that. Check the parts book on it.
Also too many 'mods' can be done on that sort.

Have you checked the unibody ?

I have sub frame connectors so hopefully that is not the issue. If the t bars don't fix it I will have to look at that next.

When it stops raining around here I will get the car out and check
